Considering our previous post on pet poisonings, we thought it was important to provide access to this resource for owners to report adverse events from giving their pet medication or applying an insectide.
According to the AVMA website :
- Report an adverse with vaccine or medication should be reported to your veterinarian.
- If the product is not FDa-approved or is a medical advise contact the FDA. Click here for more information on making a report to the FDA.
- To report an adverse event from an insecticide such as a flea or tick medication notify the EPA. Click here for further information.
Useful Resource:
- Pesticides and Pets Fact Sheet from Beyond Pesticides
